Description
If you purchase a vehicle in a different country to your own, it may be subject to local duties, sales taxes, or environmental levies when imported. You may find this introductory guide helpful, and our team is also here to help. However, you must investigate any duties or taxes that may be due on top of the purchase price before committing to buy. KEY FACTS A characterful and engaging mid-engined sports car, this Porsche 914 benefits from a restoration. Power comes from a naturally aspirated 1.7-litre flat-four engine, driving the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission. First registered in 1972, this example was previously registered abroad and is now located in the Netherlands. The odometer indicates 69,024 miles, though this is not warranted. EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES The car is finished in its original optional hue of Black (A1V9 L31M) over a black leatherette-trimmed interior with 'sky-leather' seat upholstery. The car rides on a set of 15-inch Volkswagen Empi GT-8 aluminium alloy wheels finished in black with polished lips, framing yellow brake callipers and fitted with Maxxis Mecotra 3 tyres. Equipment includes chromed bumpers and spotlights in the front bumper, a removable targa roof, pop-up headlights, a VDO analogue clock, and heater and ventilation controls. Accompanied by a Haynes repair manual, a Porsche 914 book, and a selection of maintenance and parts invoices. Five original Pedrini wheels are also supplied with the vehicle. CONDITION Please refer to the photo gallery to assess the exterior and interior condition. The car has benefitted from a restoration, and the seller states that the project started in August 2024 and the car underwent a complete rust-removal treatment in all the usual trouble spots, the entire car was sprayed with epoxy primer, and the underbody was coated with a 2K bitumen-based coating. The seller also notes that all rust was treated with Brunox—a 2K product that converts rust into iron and the car returned from the pain
