Description
Representing the final year of the classic long-hood 911 body style, this 1973 Porsche 911T Coupe has been reimagined under the guidance of Magnus Walker, with assistance from Rod Emory, commissioned for a previous owner named Helmut Wahl. Wahl acquired the car in 2013 after it was consigned by Brian Cunningham, grandson of American racing icon Briggs Cunningham. Power comes from a fuel-injected twin-plug 2.8-liter flat-six built by TLG Auto using the original engine case and paired with a 915 transaxle equipped with a Guard limited-slip differential. Finished in Gemini Blue, the exterior features widened rear fenders, gold accents, a louvered rear decklid, fifteen52 Outlaw wheels, and suspension refurbished by TLG. The cabin includes Recaro sport seats, a roll bar, and a custom fiberglass dashboard created by Rod Emory, and further interior refreshments made by the current owner. Accompanied by a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and a collection of build documentation, this custom long-hood 911 is now being offered for auction on behalf of the owner in Florida. This 911T was refinished in Gemini Blue prior to Wahl’s acquisition, changing from its factory-specified Gold Metallic finish. Magnus Walker, a friend of Wahl, provided creative direction for the subsequent modifications, which included installation of a custom louvered rear decklid along with fitment and metalwork performed by Rod Emory. The car is further equipped with widened rear fenders and an oil cooler mounted within the passenger-side front wheel well. Walker’s painter added stripes in the original Gold Metallic color across the front and rear lids. Additional exterior details include European-style headlight rings, a 911S-style front spoiler, a dual-outlet sport exhaust, and gold Porsche side script. The fifteen52 Outlaw 001 two-piece forged wheels were ordered by Walker for Wahl in a custom matte finish and measure 15×7" with an ET23 offset up front, while the 15×8" rear wheels carry an ET10 offset. Pirelli Cinturato P7 tires measure 205/50 and 225/50 front and rear, respectively. Full paint protection film has been applied, and the seller describes the exterior as being in very good condition overall with only minor imperfections, including light rock chips on the rear rocker panels.
