Description
This 1977 BMW R100S was rebuilt as a cafe racer, reportedly by its original owner, with a cafe-style tail section, Tarozzi rearsets, pod air filters, diamond-pattern grips, a custom red-stitched solo seat, and aftermarket lights and turn signals, and it was later acquired by the seller in 2020. It is powered by an air-cooled 980cc opposed-twin paired with a five-speed transmission and is finished in black and silver. Additional features include an enclosed driveshaft, an electric starter, a 6.3-gallon fuel tank, dual Bing carburetors, cross-spoke alloy wheels, front disc brakes, a side stand, and a center stand. This R100S is now offered with a clean Washington title in the seller’s name. The bike has been fitted with a cafe-style tail section, Tarozzi rear-set foot controls, a custom leather saddlebag, and aftermarket turn signals, and it was refinished in black and silver. The seller notes a ding in the right-side exhaust pipe and nicks in the paint on the frame.
