Description
Debuted for the 1978 model year with a larger 3.3-liter turbocharged and intercooled engine, the Porsche 911 Turbo (930) sends as much as 300 HP to the rear wheels in European-market form through a 4-speed manual transmission. One of just 735 built for the European market, this example is finished in Silver Metallic over black interior upholstery and features distinctive "Turbo" side decals, the iconic "tea tray" rear spoiler, lower front fog lights, 16" Fuchs wheels, aftermarket Recaro bucket seats, a custom three-spoke steering wheel, a sound system, power windows, an electric sunroof, and more. Acquired by the seller's father in 1990, this example has been cared for by one family for 36 years. Showing approximately 38k miles on the odometer, this 930 Turbo is now being offered for auction in Georgia.
The Turbo is characterized by its wide bodywork, black stone guards, front fog lights, and the iconic "tea tray" rear spoiler. This example is factory-finished in Silver Metallic with Turbo rear fender decals and rides on standard 16" Fuchs wheels. The seller notes peeled paint on a section of the hood and a small scuff on the lower driver's-side front bumper from the car's low ride height, and describes the exterior as otherwise well preserved.
