Description
Marking the inaugural year of the Carrera 3.2, this 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet is a rest-of-world (ROW) example whose Euro-specification 3.2-liter flat-six produces a higher 228 HP output than the US-market version. Finished in red over a black interior, it is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission and factory options including light alloy wheels, Sport Seats, cruise control, an anti-theft system, and a graduated-tint windshield with green side glass. Recently treated to an extensive service by a marque specialist, this Carrera Cabriolet is now being offered for auction in Ohio.
The exterior is finished in red and carries the Euro-specification bumpers of a rest-of-world car. It rides on factory light alloy wheels mounted with recently fitted Hankook Ventus tires measuring 205/55R16 up front and 225/50R16 at the rear. The seller describes the paint as presenting very nicely with no UV damage, while a paint meter reads heavy on the driver’s-side rear quarter panel with consistent readings across the other panels. Noted imperfections include a lighter-colored stain on the forward portion of the hood, dents at the base of each rocker panel, and a quarter-sized ding near the center of the rear decklid, with panel alignment described as very good. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is trimmed in black and features Leather Sport Seats, a graduated-tint windshield with green side glass, cruise control, an anti-theft system, and factory audio with four speakers. A MOMO steering wheel has been installed and the factory head unit has been supplemented with an amplifier mounted in the front trunk. The seller notes the dashboard and surfaces are free of UV damage and the carpets present very nicely, while the convertible top cover and tonneau cover need repair, the driver’s seat-back adjuster wheel will not stay on its mechanism, and the power windows operate slowly but function.
