KEY FACTS This is a highly desirable and exceptionally rare RUF-converted Porsche 930 Turbo, upgraded in period by dealer Scottsdale Motorsports.. It is powered by a turbocharged 3.4-litre flat-six driving the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. Understood to have been first registered in June 1985, the car is reported to have been built to German-market specification, but supplied to North America. There is a letter on file from 1987 confirming the conversion to 3.4-litre specification by Scottsdale Motorsports, Arizona, which was a RUF dealer at the time. The odometer indicates 42,910 miles. The conversion work by Scottsdale Motorsports included the increase to 3.4-litre capacity, fitment of a five-speed transmission, a larger and freer-flowing ported exhaust system, and Sony stereo system. This 930 Turbo also features boxed rocker panels, side air vents, a revised front spoiler, and deletion of the recessed Porsche bonnet crest. It is finished in black over a black interior. The sale is accompanied by two Porsche Centrum Twente invoices together with two printed information packs containing historical documentation and information relating to RUF and this sp
