Description
Built into a street-legal race car, this 1984 Porsche 928 S is a comprehensively modified Euro-specification example powered by a rebuilt 4.7-liter V8 fitted with a Vortech supercharger. Finished in Guards Red with custom widened fenders, a 928 GTS rear bumper, and a GTS-style rear wing, it produces a reported 440 wheel horsepower through a rebuilt 5-speed G28 manual transaxle. The build spans a custom roll cage, Koni adjustable suspension, a semi-dry-sump oil system with an Accusump and additional coolers, an air-to-air intercooler, a floating front racing brake setup, and three-piece Forgeline wheels. Configured for PCA, SCCA, NASA, and vintage racing, this 928 S is now being offered for auction in Wisconsin.
Finished in Guards Red, this 928 S has been modified with widened front and rear fenders, a 928 GTS rear bumper, and a GTS-style rear wing, with the affected panels repainted in the course of the fender widening. The seller reports no rust, the car having always been stored indoors and never driven in the rain. It rides on three-piece Forgeline wheels measuring 18" in diameter, 9.5" wide up front and 11" at the rear, wrapped in new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires fitted in June 2026.
