Description
One of approximately 590 North American-market examples produced for the model year, this 1988 Porsche 930 Turbo Cabriolet is finished in Grand Prix White over a Linen leather interior with a brown soft top. Power comes from a turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six paired with a 4-speed manual transaxle. The car has been modified with a K27 turbocharger, Billy Boat headers and exhaust, a Kokeln intercooler, an MSD ignition system, and 15" BBS wheels. Acquired by the current owner in 2006, this 930 Cabriolet is now being offered for auction in Florida showing approximately 74k miles.
The car is said to have been refinished in Grand Prix White under previous ownership and features a brown convertible soft top, headlight washers, fog lights, black stone guards ahead of the rear wheels, a "Tea Tray" rear spoiler, and a single exhaust outlet. It rides on 15" BBS RS basketweave wheels finished in white with satin lips, wrapped in Pirelli tires measuring 225/50 front and 345/35 rear that were reportedly mounted in 2023. The seller notes that the engine lid and right quarter panel were refinished in 2010, when the soft top was also replaced. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The power-adjustable front seats are upholstered in Linen leather with burgundy piping, complemented by a burgundy dashboard and upper door panels. Amenities include air conditioning, power windows, an analog clock, a burgundy leather-wrapped steering wheel framing VDO instrumentation, and an Alpine stereo linked to Blaupunkt speakers. The seats, door armrests, and shift boot were re-trimmed and the carpeting was replaced in 2010.
