Description
Finished in Guards Red over Cashmere Beige upholstery, this 1993 Porsche 964 Carrera 2 Coupe has been extensively modified with a 3.8-liter flat-six engine, upgraded suspension and braking components, and a selection of performance and cosmetic enhancements. Owned by the seller for the past 11 years, the car has overseen a comprehensive, long-term build centered around a fully rebuilt and enlarged original engine utilizing an FVD Brombacher 3.8-liter Mahle piston and cylinder kit, upgraded valvetrain components, a 964 RS lightweight flywheel and clutch assembly, and performance engine management software. Additional upgrades include JRZ RS-Pro double-adjustable coilovers, an RS America-style rear spoiler, BBS LM wheels, and a Porsche Classic Communication Management (PCCM) infotainment system. A no-expense-spared project developed over more than a decade, this 3.8-powered 964 is now being offered for auction in California.
The Guards Red exterior has been modified with Getty Design front splitter, RS-style front brake cooling inserts, LED projector headlamps, and an OEM RS America-style whale-tail rear spoiler. Other equipment includes an electric sunroof, aero mirrors, and a rear window wiper. The car rides on 18” BBS Japan LM wheels specifically fitted for the narrow-body 964, mounted with Pirelli P Zero tires measuring 225/40 in front and 265/35 at the rear. The seller indicates that the front bumper has been repainted and notes the presence of stone chips accumulated through years of driving. The exterior has also received a professional ceramic coating treatment. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
