Description
The 993 holds a singular place in Porsche history as the last air-cooled 911 — the final expression of a lineage that traced directly to Ferdinand Porsche's original design philosophy before water cooling arrived for 1999. The Carrera 4S added all-wheel drive and broader Turbo-derived bodywork to the standard Carrera's already strong specification, combining the wider rear haunches, Turbo-spec front air dam, Turbo-spec brakes, and 18-inch Turbo Twist wheels with the 282-horsepower VarioRam flat-six.
This ‘97 Carrera 4S is finished in Arena Red Metallic over Classic Gray leather and was originally sold in Arizona before passing through Washington State ownership prior to the seller's acquisition in 2006 at approximately 41,000 miles. The car was driven for approximately six years by the seller and subsequently stored until earlier in 2026.
At that time, the seller commissioned Northwest Autohaus of Medford, Oregon, to replace various fluids, belts, and suspension components, tires, and more, adding up to a total pre-sale preparation exceeding $12,000. Additionally, the car has recently been treated to XPEL Ultimate Plus paint protection film following a Fusion Plus ceramic coating.
