Description
Among the most coveted 993 Carrera variants, the Porsche 993 Carrera S Vesuvio Edition was produced in extraordinarily limited numbers, each presenting wide Turbo bodywork, a split-grille rear decklid, and an exclusive color scheme. This Japanese-market example is one of a reported 60 Vesuvio Editions produced, finished in Vesuvio Metallic with Steel Gray accents over a Cashmere Beige interior and equipped with an optional 4-speed Tiptronic S transmission. Factory options include the Special Chassis Rigidly Tuned suspension, an Active Brake Differential, xenon headlights, and an electric sunroof. Recently treated to an extensive engine-out service and cared for by one owner in Japan, this C2S is now being offered for auction by the selling dealer in California, showing approximately 243k kilometers (~151k miles) on the odometer and accompanied by detailed service records.
Sharing the Turbo model’s wide bodyshell along with a unique split-grille rear decklid, this Carrera S is finished in Vesuvio Metallic (L40X), which elegantly fades between shades of purple and grey. Steel Gray accents follow the side mirrors, decklid, and wheels, and it rides on color-coordinated 18" Technology lightweight hollow-spoke wheels mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires from 2024, with black brake calipers bearing white Porsche lettering. The seller notes the car retains largely original paint, with fade at the center of the hood, rock chips and touch-ups on the front bumper, rough touch-ups on the driver’s-side roof rain guard, and cosmetic resprays on a few spots per paint-meter readings, none exceeding 10mm. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
