Description
Introduced for 1996 as the flagship of the 911 model range, the Porsche 993 Turbo combined the final evolution of the air-cooled flat-six with twin turbochargers, all-wheel drive, and distinctive widened bodywork, creating one of the most desirable and sought-after 911 models of the air-cooled era. This 1997 example is finished in Guards Red over black leather upholstery and features an upgraded Fabspeed Supercup exhaust system and a Porsche Classic Communication Management (PCCM) head unit. The current owner acquired it in 2024, and Patrick Motorsports completed a major service at that time. Having covered just under 9k miles from new, this exceptionally well-preserved 993 Turbo is now being offered for auction in New York.
The 911 Turbo is distinguished from standard 993 Carrera models by its unique front fascia, widened bodywork, and fixed body-colored rear spoiler. The exterior is finished in original Guards Red (L84A) paint, which the seller indicates received paint correction under current ownership, followed by the installation of full-body paint protection film. Equipment includes headlamp washers, integrated fog lights, heated power mirrors, an electric sunroof, a rear window wiper, dual polished exhaust tips, and red Porsche-branded brake calipers mounted behind 18” Technology hollow-spoke wheels with Turbo-logo center caps and Michelin Pilot Sport tires dated from 2023. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report.
