Description
Introduced for the 1999 model year, the Porsche 996 Carrera 4 paired the first water-cooled 911's 3.4-liter flat-six with all-wheel drive in a narrow-body configuration. Finished in Guards Red over Savanna Beige full leather upholstery, this 2000 911 Cabriolet is optioned with a plethora of Exclusive dark burr maple wood interior trim accents, stainless steel exhaust pipes, Porsche-crested headrests, and a 5-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission, while modifications include faux Turbo-style side air intakes, door decals, and 18" multispoke wheels. Recently treated to a paint correction and a refurbished convertible top mechanism, this Carrera 4 Cabriolet is now being offered for auction in New York.
Finished in Guards Red, this Cabriolet features a black power-operated soft top, integrated fog lights, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and optional stainless steel tailpipes. Modifications include a two-tone paint scheme, faux Turbo-style side air intakes, door decals, and 18" multispoke wheels wrapped in General G-MAX tires measuring 225/40ZR18 up front and 295/30ZR18 out back. The seller reports a paint correction performed within the past 60 days and describes the exterior appearance as very nice. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report noting a potential odometer rollback in November 2010 and a damage report in November 2021.
