2006 Aston Martin DB9 Project

This 2006 Aston Martin DB9 is a black-over-black convertible project that was acquired by the seller in 2021 and now has 23k miles. The car is equipped with 19″ 10-spoke alloy wheels, ceramic-composite brakes, a six-speed automatic transaxle, and a limited-slip differential as well as rear parking sensors, heated power-adjustable front seats, a navigation system, and a CD stereo. The seller notes that the 5.9-liter V12 has developed a rod knock, and the soft top mechanism does not work. This DB9 is now offered at no reserve with an Illinois title in the seller’s name. The DB9 featured a mix of aluminum and composite body panels installed over an extruded aluminum spaceframe. This example is finished in Jet Black and features a bright crosshatch grille, rear parking sensors, and LED taillights. The black soft top mechanism does not work. The Carfax report notes damage in a May 2012 entry.
