Description
This 2022 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 was outfitted as a camper by The Mountain Standard of Scappoose, Oregon, when new, and it was acquired by the seller in 2022. The cabin houses Scheel-Mann bucket seats, a Dometic cooler/freezer, a microwave, a Flarespace bed platform and mattress, a Vizio TV, an Xbox console, and aluminum cabinetry. The Obsidian Black Metallic exterior has been altered with a CAtuned Off-Road front bumper, Baja Designs lights, a Warn winch, a Fiamma awning, a side ladder, and a Roofnest pop-up tent with an air mattress. The high-roof van rides on Falcon remote-reservoir shocks and 17″ Black Rhino wheels, and power is provided by a 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 linked with a seven-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional equipment includes front and rear receiver hitches, rear parking sensors, a solar panel, a lithium-ion battery system, a water heater, a fresh water tank, a ventilation fan, and MBUX infotainment. This Sprinter has 4,400 miles and is offered in New York with a Thule bike rack, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Utah title in the seller’s name. The Obsidian Black Metallic (9197) paintwork is accented with a matte hood wrap as well as unfinished bumper covers and side cladding. The van has been outfitted with a CAtuned Off-Road front bumper with a bull bar and Baja Designs driving lights as well as a Warn winch, front and rear tow hooks, rock sliders, auxiliary lights, Flarespace rear cabin extensions, and a roof rack with a Fiamma awning, a side ladder, recovery boards, and a Roofnest pop-up tent with an air mattress. A step is fitted out back along with carriers that store a spare wheel, an Owl Vans storage box, a shovel, and RotopaX containers. The majority of the photos in the gallery were taken in May 2024.
