Description
The Overview A New Current at Zuffenhausen For six decades the 911 answered every demand made of it the same way: displacement, geometry, and a flat-six slung behind the rear axle. Porsche changed the terms on 28 May 2024. What the factory unveiled that day was the first road-going 911 to carry a hybrid powertrain, and it is neither a plug-in nor an economy measure. The T-Hybrid exists to make the car quicker. The engine grew to 3.6 litres and gave up a turbocharger. In place of the outgoing pair sits a single unit with an electric motor on the shaft between compressor and turbine, spinning the compressor up before exhaust gas can do the work and then, once boost is made, turning generator to return as much as eleven kilowatts to the system. There is no wastegate. A second motor, permanently excited and synchronous, lives inside a strengthened eight-speed PDK. Combined output is 532 horsepower and 449 lb-ft. Porsche had made its case a fortnight before the reveal, when Jörg Bergmeister lapped the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 7:16.934. 992.2 GTS # TS227312 Built at Zuffenhausen with its Monroney label printed on 9 March 2026, #TS227312 was delivered through Porsche Norwell three days later and sold on 4 April at twenty-five miles. It was specified in Aventurine Green Metallic, a name Porsche originally gave the 993-generation 911 in the mid-1990s and has since revived, over Club Leather in Basalt Black and Classic Cognac — Porsche’s deluxe milled nappa grade, seated above the standard leather range and cross-stitched across the instrument panel and door trim. Options ran to $31,100 against a delivered price of $214,450: the front axle lift system, an electric glass sunroof, HD-Matrix Design LED headlights in black, eighteen-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus with the Memory Package and front seat ventilation, carbon fibre mirror upper trims, SportDesign side skirts, high-gloss black brake calipers, rear lid grille slats in the exterior colour, and the Premium Package. Rear seats, deleted as standard on this model, were ordered back in at no cost. Thirteen days after delivery, the car was at AVI. What followed between 17 April and 31 July 2026 is documented across five invoices totalling $41,311.85, and it is the reason #TS227312 is not interchangeable with any other 992.2 GTS on the market. The wheels are Brixton Forged TR05 Circuit+ three-piece centre-locks, twenty inches front and twenty-one rear, in champagne with black stainless hardware, wearing a full set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 in N1 Porsche specification. Beneath the car sit SOUL Performance sport catalytic converters developed specifically for the T-Hybrid Carrera GTS, with a Kies Motorsports controller giving direct command of the exhaust valves. The factory HD-Matrix beam function, which cars delivered to the United States carry in restricted form, was activated through Porsche’s PIWIS system. The cabin electronics were integrated rather than added. An Escort Redline Ci 360c with front and rear radar detection and five laser jammers was installed across four days on mounts drawn in-house for this car, alongside a Midland MXT575 fifty-watt GMRS radio and a PITAKA wireless charging mount sharing the same glove-box-door mounting. A magnetic front licence plate kit, designed and printed by AVI for the 992.2 GTS bumper, mounts and removes without drilling. Every factory component displaced by that work, including the original wheels, tyres and catalytic converters, is included with the car. Two items will come up at a franchise dealer, the sport catalytic converters and the headlight coding, and both are reversible. #TS227312 is offered from single ownership, with no accidents or damage reported to CARFAX, a CARFAX-guaranteed clean title and odometer, and the balance of Porsche’s factory warranty.
